Acers Athletes Shine at Sagicor Junior Tennis Tournament in Trinidad
The Acers Tennis Club is proud to highlight the outstanding efforts and achievements of our athletes currently competing in the Sagicor Junior Tennis Tournament, hosted by the Tennis Patrons Academy from July 12–17 at the National Racquet Centre in Trinidad and Tobago.
Representing both Saint Lucia and the Acers Tennis Club, our players have been delivering inspiring performances across various age categories, showing tremendous growth, character, and competitive spirit.
U10 – Kimari Felix Breaks Through
In the Under-10 category, Kimari Felix has stormed into the main draw, a remarkable improvement from last year when he did not advance past the early rounds. Kimari's strong performance is a clear indication of his hard work, focus, and growth over the past season. We are proud to see his efforts paying off on court.
U12 – Riley Smith Advances, Vernon Justin Gains Experience
In the Under-12 division, Riley Smith, playing in this age category for the first time, advanced to the main draw after a solid showing in the group stage, winning two of his three singles matches. His poise and determination have not gone unnoticed, and we commend him for stepping up with confidence at this new level.
Also representing Acers in the U12 boys category was Vernon Justin, who, while not advancing to the main draw, showed significant improvement in both his game and attitude toward competition. His dedication and mental growth are worth celebrating, and we recognize the strides he continues to make.
Girls U12 – Skai Sammy Fights Back
Our only female representative, Skai Sammy, faced a tough opening draw in the U12 girls division. After two early losses, she bounced back to take her third match in a gritty three-set battle. Though she did not qualify for the main draw, she now enters the consolation round with renewed momentum. Skai continues to show heart and perseverance, qualities we value deeply at Acers.
U14 – Denney Estava Moves Forward
In the Under-14 category, Denney Estava has advanced to the main draw, delivering a strong performance and earning his place among the top players. He'll be joined by fellow Saint Lucian Tahj Goodman, adding to the excitement as our young athletes continue to make their mark.
The Acers Tennis Club is extremely proud of all our athletes who are competing with passion, discipline, and sportsmanship. Their performances reflect the strength of our training, the support of our coaches and families, and the determination of every player wearing the Acers badge.
Congratulations to Kimari, Riley, Vernon, Skai, and Denney, your Acers family is behind you all the way! Keep pushing, keep growing, and keep representing us with pride.
